You want to be scared - really scared?
I teach librarians how to use the Internet for our regional cooperative.
My only comment - will the Internet kill libraries? Perhaps, but only
because a 12yr old can often (read usually) use the Web better than a 40yr
with a Masters Degree.

It just amazes me that so many librarians in apparently technical positions
continue to send mime/html e-mail to discussion lists. It's not only this
one but also others that I receive. At least one that I get has been forced
to start stripping these messages automatically. What does this say about
our general level of expertise and how we look to others?
