META Tags and MS Word Document

Hi All,

We are in the process of implementing a search engine  on our company's intranet
site.  We have hundreds of Word documents stored on the server which have
"Keywords" added to document from the "Properties" screen.

My question to the group is, do these "Keywords" qualify as "META Tags".  In
other words, would these documents be found by a search engine which was
searching for META Tags?
