Several public computers were getting a Hotmail "Document contains no data" error message from Netscape Navigator 4.08
browsers, while other machines in the same building were having no trouble connecting to Hotmail with Internet Explorer
(surprise!).

The staff tried deleting History and Cookies, to no avail, I suggested deleting PREFS.JS, and that worked immediately. Of
course, now they keep a "known good" copy of PREFS.JS for their public computers, and they replace it at the first sign of
Netscape behaving badly.

BTW, no argument about Hotmail being unreliable, or worse. I set up a test account in Hotmail in December, and never used it
or gave out the address. This account receives an average of 10 to 20 spams a day. Go figure.
