I noted this as well. Ipswitch has an information page and solutions for
this problem online at http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/WS-20000103-DM01.htm.
I was relieved this was due to the ftp client and not our server
applications!

Subject: [WEB4LIB] WS_FTP95 and Y2K Question
If you are using WS_FTP95 to put your pages on a server, have you noticed a
strange date format? My older files are dated "991201" etc but anything
done after the new year has a date "10000101" etc. That looks like the year
1000 to me, but please tell me what you think. It does not seem to effect
the performance of the software...just gives the files these odd looking
dates.
Thanks for your help...
