One resource you might look at is this web site:

http://eConstructors.com/

I haven't used it extensively but the concept behind the site is
interesting.  The site allows you to search by sites that you have seen that
you find interesting, innovative, etc. and to get information on who has
designed the site.  If you see a site that is along the lines of what you
want to construct, presumably, the design company could do the same for you.
