FWIW: We've got a G4 on order not so much for image capture--though
colorSync is fab--but for DV work.  That includes both audio and video.
The fact that I can plug our Sony jobbie right into the machine by-passing
an analog connection was an important consideration.  Also, since most of
our video will be in Quicktime for long stretches of its life, it seemed to
make sense to go native.  I guess when we get the thing up and running
we'll be offering both RealMedia and also looking into Quicktime
streaming--another interesting wrinkle.
