Cure for the Happy 99 virus

Hello All:

I have a bit of a problem. I believe that my home computer is infected with
the Happy 99 virus.  

How do I get rid of it?!

I have virus check, (I am not sure of the edition), but evidently that is
not enough. 

This virus keeps going out on my email messages.  So far it is more of an
embarrassment than a problem.

Any suggestions?
