Intranet search engine?

My corporate is about to start evaluating new search engines for our intranet, 
and I need information about what other folks are doing. We serve about 3,000 
users. We have been using Netscape Compass server for search, but will be 
looking at others such as Verity, Inktomi, Google.

What is everyone out there using, and how much do they like it?

Any help is appreciated.
