Hello Andrew and others.
If you are going to PLA, I'd suggest that you attend the program hosted by
PLA's Community Information Services section. This section deals with the
technology behind such services and best practices in integrating them
into library reference services. Web-based services are becoming the
focal point of the group.
I'll post a full description of the panel presentation in about a week.
Also, the CIS section will be doing two programs at ALA this summer and
its business meetings and discussion group are open to all.
