Tracking Links

Hi - 

I work in a corporate library and we are in the midst of designing an intranet site, which will have links to other sites. We are thinking about using one of the products that will keep track of whether or not the links are still "live." Has anyone ever used these services before? Any information would be appreciated, as we are still in the initial planning process for this. Thanks.
