Like others I prefer to not use a WYSIWYG.  I use HTMLed32.  I built a 400+ page site with it in 3 weeks (I lot of the content as ready in text format).  Since then I've built a couple of other small sites, maintained them and use it for teaching classes in HTML and WEb Design.
