     Web Librarian
     
     ASTD, a leading international nonprofit in the field of human resource 
     development, seeks a dynamic, nontraditional  librarian  to provide 
     online & Web searches for members; coordinate content, design, and 
     development of ASTD's Website and intranet; create and maintain PC and 
     Web-based databases; and index/abstract publications.
     
     BA/BS required; MLS or advanced degree in instructional technology 
     preferable. Minimum of 3 years work experience in an information 
     center or library, plus experience in content management on the Web or 
     intranet. Requires ability to manage multiple projects, proficiency in 
     searching online databases & the Web, experience with development or 
     management of online databases, strong customer service skills, HTML 
     coding and Web page design/layout. Salary range from high 30s to high 
     40s, depending on salary history and experience.  Excellent benefits 
     package.
