web maintenance

I would like to hear how web maintenance and design is structured at other libraries.  When I came two years ago, I took over the web site from the college webmaster, (the first step towards it coming to a librarian).  Basically, I work on it and post pages and receive input from the other librarians.  Now that it is growing so much, I would like to set up a web committee.  I think that perhaps 4 librarians would be a good start...but I am seeking some input.  Do you have different web committees for different parts of your site (i.e. one for courses, exhibits, databases, etc.)
