ASSISTANT DIVISION CHIEF
SUPERVISING LIBRARIAN

Brooklyn Public Library seeks an Assistant Division Chief for the Central
Library. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping to manage
the newly renovated and reorganized, state-of-the-art, Youth Services
Division and will help to plan and implement a broad array of traditional
and innovative programs, services, collections and activities for children
and young adults. Qualifications: MLS from an ALA accredited institution;
New York State public librarian professional certificate; 2-3 years
supervisory and management experience; team player; strong knowledge of
public library services for children and young adults; experience in
incorporating technology into programs & services for children and young
adults.
