INFORMATION SERVICES - VALLEY LIBRARY

Salary range: $2878.00 - $4866.00/MONTHLY

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Information Services assists the university community by facilitating the
transmission of knowledge and expertise to students, faculty and staff.
The purpose of this position is to maintain various technical systems in
support of Library Services.  The major duties of this position include
Assisting in planning and implementing new Unix-based library services;
providing server administration; installing applications; writing scripts
and programs; maintaining and developing Unix (Solaris) servers; assisting
in application support and troubleshooting on library servers running NT
operating system; supporting NT-based web server; installing Web-related
scripts and developing Web applications; maintaining document management
systems; maintaining the publicly available Windows-based PC's and assisting
end-users as needed.
