And the winner (from the Javascript-enabled subset of a self-selected
sample) is: 800x600 at 55% of the vote.

So...any design that optimizes for one resolution at the expense of others
will alienate a minimum of 45% of the audience?  :->  By this site's
measurements, I could write pages that only display correctly in MSIE4+
and only lose 31%.
