TECHNICAL SERVICES/AUTOMATION COORDINATOR.
 Wright Memorial Public Library (www.wright.lib.oh.us), one of the
nation’s best public libraries,  seeks service-oriented manager for its
technical services division.  RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: participation on
administrative management team, supervision/evaluation of division
services and its staff of 5, cataloging, database management. and other
automation system support. Library has 47 staff members, 27,000+
patrons, 700,000 circulations a year.  REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: Broad
knowledge of principles and practices of technical services aspects of
library science including cataloging (OCLC, AACR2.  MARC), acquisitions,
and processing; 2-5 yrs. experience with Dynix automated system;
supervisory experience; and demonstrated ability to maintain effective
and harmonious working relationships.  Also ALA/MLS and 3-5 yrs.
applicable library experience.  Salary: $33,949 ($34,495 in Jan. 2000),
37 ½ hr work week, 22 days vacation, 15 days sick leave, health
