Alternative to UnipriNT

In response to an earlier question regarding print queue control on NT many
people recommended UnipriNT.
This appears to be a wonderful program with many great features --
BUT
At $3,000 - even their entry level product comes to $100 a seat for us.
Does anyone know of a less expensive alternative?
We can sacrifice features for cost -- All we REALLY need is a product that
puts a hold on the print job, identifies where the job came from and allows
staff members to release the job.
Thanks
