IEAK 5.0

Is anyone else working with the IEAK to get IE5 distributed to public PCs?
If so, can we talk?

I can generate the build files for a custom version of IE5, and I can use
the Profile Manager to distribute updates. Where I'm having trouble is
with the NT security policies. I can't to secure the NT desktop with
policies using either the IEAK or the regular Policy Editor.

I've read the IE5 Resource Kit and searched TechNet Online and according
to the documentation it should work. I did find one TechNet or
KnowledgeBase article that says that some desktop restrictions won't work
unless you are using the Active Desktop. (We aren't and I really don't
want to.) I've gone through all of the policy templates that come with the
IEAK 5 (.adm files). I've tried to identify which of these files has to do
with Active Desktop and I'm not loading them. However, it doesn't seem to
matter what I do -- once I've loaded IE5, policies don't work.

Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

Regards, Donna
