Glimpse output?

I'm wondering--does anybody use Glimpse to index their web pages on a unix
box?  We have it on our machine, but ea. time I run it and output it to
filename, that file = 0 bytes.  Any Glimpse gurus out there in web4lib
land?  Sorry if this is a slightly off topic question.
