Sounds like my job, plus a couple hours a week on reference (lets me
remember I'm a "real librarian" and also keeps me in touch with how the
users are doing with our electronic services) and liaison and collection
development for four academic departments (physics, chemistry, computer
info systems, and instructional technology, all natural fits).

My contract says "Network Information Coordinator and Professor". My
business card says the first three of the five words on contract. Where
did the title come from? I made it up when the job was created in 93, the
boss liked it, and it stuck.

cheers

dan
