? Any experience using AltaVista Search Intranet

Hello Web4Libbers,

I am wondering if anyone has used AltaVista Search Intranet
product and if so, how have they found the configuration
and administration of this? 

Also, what has been the experience of defining and 
indexing separate collections and then providing 
end users with the option to search across one, several 
or all collections? Has anyone used this to index
metadata in documents?
