I appreciate the pointers and feedback -- really, I do.  But I was thinking
more about the need for the public to recognize why we should be investing
much more into libraries these days than the actual existence of non-profit
indexes and such.  When we get to the point where it is a routine part of
every library (at least the larger ones) to catalog Internet resources,
then I'll be satisfied, I guess.

The fact that there's so much hot air about access to pornography should be
turned into debate about access to useful information and how that can come
about with the help of librarians.
