web file question

Hi, Here is a web server question. We use Apache web server. All files are in one directory, which works fine. Recently we made a subdirectory to hold the test pages. Although we gave the same access right to "other" with those in the main directory, we still can't see it using browser. "Can't fine the file in the server" is the error message. If you have some clue, please let us know.
