Curious Behavior

I just noticed this today when I visited a Microsoft site with Netscape
Navigator, specifically:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/default.asp

The type on the page was incredibly small -- impossible for me to read and I
noticed in the code that they use different style sheets for NN and IE.  When
I visited with IE, the type was much larger (and legible).  Do you think this
is a not-so-subtle hint from Microsoft or just a quirk ....
