Help with signature file in Netscape 4.5

Here at UB, we are runnning Netscape Communicator on a Windows NT network.
I have a student who wants to attach a signature file to e-mail messages
sent through Netscape.  We go to Edit, Preferences, Mail & Groups,
Identity and put in the path m:\signature.txt for the signature file, but
no signature file is attached.  The Netscape help says to "check the
associated check box" to automatically send the signature file, but there
is no checkbox.

A message has been sent to Netscape.

We appreciate any tips that you have.
