Dear Readers:

I am serving as guest editor for an upcoming issue of "Library Trends."
Please see the editor's statement of the scope and intent of "Library
Trends" at:

http://edfu.lis.uiuc.edu/puboff/catalog/trends/.

The issue will address how libraries and library standards, practices, and
operations are helping (or could help, or should help) to provide improved
knowledge access management for electronic resources and the Internet.

I would like to involve the community in the formation of this important
"Library Trends" issue by inviting you to suggest the TOPIC AREAS that
should be covered.

This is not a call for authors or papers at this time.

I am looking for key issues, themes, topics, etc., that should be addressed.

Please respond to me personally at jul at oclc.org.

I will collect and summarize the findings.

Thank you for your interest and input.

Yours truly,

--Erik
