people counters

This is off topic for this list--apologies, and I would appreciate it if
anyone can refer me to a more appropriate list.

I want to purchase a "people counter" for my library--a device that
keeps track of how many people come in and out the door. I'd appreciate
any information from people who use them--names of brands, ordering
information, good and bad experiences. I'm not interested in the type
that is combined with a security gate, just in a small unit that keeps
track of people passing through. So far, I have found one web site for a
company that appears to market theirs to retail stores.
