Hi,
I've been taught that the year 2000 is the last year of the century and millenium- just as a 100 runs = century in cricket, not 99 runs. 2001 is the beginning of a new millenium/century to me.

I've been taught that the year 2000 is the beginning of the next Century,
not the Millenium. What do we tell our patrons? Is it the new Millenium,
the new Century, or both?
Hope everyone has a wonderful celebration. I will be working New Year's Eve
making sure no problems are encountered.
Happy New Year!
