One other text editor, and by far the best for LARGE files (e.g. 30MB log 
files) is GWD Text Editor from www.GWDSoft.com.  I can do "find"s in log 
files lightning quick, and it doesn't choke like WordPad does.  It is also 
ideal if you're a programmer.  Won't bore you with any more 
details.  Shareware, and quite inexpensive, and definitely worth checking 
out if you're looking for a fantastic text editor.
