Since I booted my PC up this morning, and it adjusted itself for the leap
year, I have been getting this message each time I open and close Netscape.
I am running Netscape 4.06 on my Win95 standalone machine.
All I need to do is to open Netscape and then close it. I get the
following message.
Bookmarks have changed on disk and are being reloaded.
and there is an OK box below this message.
If I open Netscape and go to a site that is in my bookmarks, such as
Altavista (actually on my personal toolbar) I get this variation of the
message.
Bookmarks have changed on disk. Discard your unsaved changes and reload.
This has a choice of 2 boxes, OK or CANCEL.
Any idea what is causing this?
I see that the time date stamp of my bookmark file has changed, and also
the following files are actually a speck more recent than the bookmark file.
abook.nab (what is this)
secmod.db
prefs.js
cert7.db
key3.db
netscape.hst
Any help would be appreciated.
Isabel
