Hi Genny/

    Thanks for your effort.

>>> Genevieve Engel <gengel at sfghdean.ucsf.edu> 04/06 1:50 PM >>>
>ISWN ................International Standard Work Number.

>See http://www.smff.se/Forkortningsordlista.htm

     This does seem to fit the context.

>This was pretty easy to find. Go to Altavista, search +"international
>standard" +iswn (you can guess at the outset it must stand for
>International Standard W..... Number, the question is just what the W.....
>is).

   I searched my favorites HotBot and Excite for 'ISWN'
but didn't find. [:-(] [Maybe I should change Search Engines
[:-)]

/Gerry

P.S. I received this as another possibility:

>Isn't it International Standard Web Number, for >internet/electronically published documents,
>corresponding to ISBN or ISSN for books or serials published on >paper?
