Suzanne,
The City of Indianapolis provides e-commerece transactions for several of
its services through an LLC called City/County Interactive. (see
http://www.civicnet.net)
CivicNet is the fee-based part of the City/County's [UNIGOV] web-presence
(see http://www.ci.indianapolis.in.us) which is closely related to the
Access Indiana Information Network (http://www.ai.org) through its LLC,
Indiana Interactive.
They are both part of the National Information Consortium (see
http://www.state-info.com), who were featured on the front of Civic.com
magazine this past week. They create public/private ventures to bring
high-end e-commerce to government.
