COLOR and USABILITY

I recently read an article on-line where a study of the effectiveness of
various color combinations in page design was tested and evaluated.  Of
course, I forgot to bookmark or print it and can't recall where I've seen
it.  Is anyone familiar with any resources that discuss the effectiveness
of color combinations??

Does this sound like one of those "worst-of" cryptic patron questions??
