Associate Vice President for Library and Information Services

Serve as Dominican College's Chief Information Officer(CIO) with
management and supervisory oversight for all aspects of academic and
administrative computing,telecommunications services, and the library.
Responsible for ensuring that emerging needs are clearly articulated and
creatively addressed; formulating and implementing policy for selecting
and integrating effective information technologies and services for the
College; managing the day-to-day operations of the library and
information services; and providing leadership in developing library
collections and other learning resources, as well as in building and
updating the technological infrastructure that is required for efficient
operations. The position requires an advanced degree in a field directly
related to library and automated information services, 7-10 years of
senior administrative experience in a library and computing center
within a higher education environment, significant knowledge of library
operations and advanced technologies relevant to higher education,
superior communications skills, and a collaborative spirit.
