I've been teaching through Diversity University MOO http://www.du.org:8888
Click on the Web Interface option. Its Java based and not even the Library
Channel browser has problems with it 8). Not only can you save a log and
e-mail it to all participants but you can make it a Web link for later
browsing as well. Plus you get really good learner control features like
tables where they have to hold up there hands to talk so you can keep the
lecture/discussion focussed without as much bother as standard chat where
everyone can talk regardless. I'd be happy to meet with you online and
show it to you. DU is a non-profit corporation which provides free access
for all non-profit educational or educationally related organizations. (I'm
a for profit so I donate 7.5% of my tuition gross)
Cordially,
Diane
