BIG Gift to Seattle Public Library

Fellow web4lib list members--just had to share this:

Good News for this library system just keeps rolling in!
Not only did Seattle voters overwhelmingly approve a huge bond
issue to replace or renovate all of our library buildings, but
today the Library announced a $20 million gift from Bill
and Melinda Gates.  (Details reported on our web site:
www.spl.org.)

We may be a bit stunned but are smiling broadly under those famous
rainy Seattle skies.
