Power Point

Hi,
I'm trying to convert a Power Point slide into an image for the Web.  It's
a chart with a few columns.  I've tried saving it as a gif and jpeg but it
always seems to get messed uo in one way or the other.   Can anyone assist
me on this one?  I would also appreciate it if anyone could point me in the
"right" direction for a course on working with images for the Web.
