Question for everyone,

I have a javascript that automatically places the cursor in the box so a
patron can type in a search, but (here's the question) the patron still has
to click on the submit button, anyway to set it up to just press return
after typing in the search??  I'm a novice at best with Javascript, but
trying to learn more. :)
