Download qestion for the group

A side thought occurred to me while re-reading the original complaint 
about the lawsuit download. Is there any way to prove that a file 
downloaded from the web came through a particular system or was 
downloaded through a particular machine?

I'm asking about something permanent, not a cache, which can be 
erased or never created.
