IISD is an independent non-profit corporation supported by CIDA,
Environment Canada and Manitoba Environment in addition to a wide range
of international sources.  IISD's mission is to promote sustainable
development in decision-making.

IISD focuses on implementation strategies involving business, government
and civil society.  The Institute is recognized world-wide for
innovative Internet communications and its programs linking environment,
economy and the well-being of people.

IISD has an immediate opening for a Manager, Publishing Services.  This
position is responsible for the integrated management of IISD's Internet
and print publishing. Primary duties will include editorial review and
proofing of research papers and corporate materials, and management of
integrated production schedules for design, layout, production readiness
and distribution in electronic and print formats. 

The successful candidate will hold a university degree in a field
related to sustainable development, together with strong editing and
production experience over several years.  Excellent project and staff
management skills are required.  A background in print publishing, and
demonstrated experience in Internet publishing, is expected.
