Help:borders on and off

It is possible to design a table such that it is readable with browsers that
don't understand the table tags.  Key to this working is that browsers will
(should) ignore tags that they don't understand.  Imagine your HTML file
without any of the <TABLE>, <TR>, or <TD> tags.  Liberal use of the <BR> tag
to add line breaks (especially just before you would normally put a </TR>)
will go a long way to making your table readable with the older versions of
LYNX browsers.  For example, take a look at this URL in a graphical and
non-graphical environment:
