The welfare and safety of children isn't just a parental responsibility:
it's a societal one, including libraries.  That is why we have "adults only"
signs on taverns, strip clubs, adult bookstores, X-rated movie theatres, and
why guns, cigarettes, liquour, pornography, and cars are not sold to minors.
