Staff and change

We are planning our annual In-Service Day and one theme that keeps recurring
is dealing with rapid technological change.   While we have been automated
for some years, the advent of Internet access, plus the switch to a Windows
based interface for the OPAC, plus planned changes such as getting our own
server and developing a community network, are all escalating the learning
curve and creating new challenges for the staff.  

We would like to hear from other libraries that have dealt successfully with
staff reaction to rapid and apparently constant technological change.  Input
from other public libraries in Pennsylvania would be especially welcome.
