Position: Technology Coordinator

Rocky River Public Library seeks a service-oriented Technology
Coordinator to manage the library's technology infrastructure, including
its automation system. We require experience in many of the following
areas, with demonstrated ability to master those not known: technology
planning, LAN, Internet connectivity, servers, intranet options, Unix,
Windows (including NT), MacOS, networking, library automation systems
(Dynix preferred), training, and microcomputer applications. Excellent
communication skills and problem-solving ability a must. This is not an
entry-level position. The library, a single-site facility with a budget
of $2.3 million and 70+ employees, enjoys long-standing community
support. Rocky River is an attractive lakeside community which was
ranked Cleveland's top suburb in 1998 and 1997.


Salary range is $29,500 to $41,625 with the starting salary dependent on
experience and qualifications. Very good benefits, including an
