Execute programs on NT from the WEB

Hello all!


Maybe this is a "stupid" question. I'm sorry.

Is there a way to call an NT program from a web form instead of a CGI
program (in the case of UNIX machines)?

The program is a Visual Basic Application that has to check something
against a file, do some calculations and send an email depending on some
status of the client. The VB aplication is working alone but I need to fire
it from a WWW form with the parameters of the client (code, password, option)
