The Fourth ACM Digital Libraries Conference (DL '99) will be held
in Berkeley, California, USA on August 11-14, 1999. The
conference hotel will be the Radisson Hotel, Berkeley Marina.
Conference sessions will be on the campus of the University of
California at Berkeley and at the conference hotel. ACM SIGIR '99
follows immediately after at the same location, to facilitate
interchange between the DL and Information Retrieval communities.

ACM DL is the major international forum on digital libraries, with
an expanded program for the presentation of new research results,
the discussion of policy issues, and for the demonstration of new
systems and techniques. Computer scientists, librarians, information
scientists, archivists and others in academia, government, and
industry - from around the globe - who are leaders in the digital
library area will present and attend. The conference attracts
a broad range of professionals including theoreticians, collection
developers, publishers, researchers, educators, policy makers,
practicioners, developers, and designers of systems, interfaces,
and related applications.
