Access '98 is pleased to announce the following additions to the program: 

Topic: Web to Database Development Tools
Speaker: Frank Cervone, Assistant Director for Systems - 
	DePaul University Libraries


Topic: Consortium Licensing of Electronic Information Resources -
	The Ontario Experience
Speaker: Warren Holder, Electronic Information Resource Coordinator,
	University of Toronto Libraries


Topic:  Integrating Weblinks in the OPAC: The need for Seams and 
	Standards
Speaker: Marty Rosen, Coordinator of Technical Services and Electronic 
	Systems, Indiana University Southeast Library

Please note that the session on Electronic Reserves has been cancelled due
to the speaker's illness. 

With less than 6 weeks to go before the Conference opens we now have 101
delegates registered from 8 provinces and 10 U.S. states. Based on the
registration pattern for the Access '97 Conference in Calgary last year
I'm now predicting a final attendance of 160-180 for Access '98. 

There are still lots of rooms available for Access '98 guests at the Delta
Bessborough Hotel. HOWEVER, rooms are guaranteed for Access '98 delegates
only until September 1, 1998. After that date reservations will be
accepted at the conference rate subject to space availability.  To book,
call (306)244-5521 or 1-800-268-1133 and ask for the ACCESS '98 conference
rate. 

Entertainment for the Banquet on Saturday October 3rd will be the
"Saskatoon Soaps", a popular local improv comedy group.
