Charging for internet

Dear colleagues, (please excuse cross-posting)

I've searched but haven't found anything on any library charging for using
all/ some of the internet machines.

I would love to hear from anyone who is charging? On how many machines, and
what are you charging? How are you collecting your fee? Is anyone using
those internet kiosks that you sometimes find in shopping centres? Do you
have any special access policies?

Personally, I think that there should always be free access available. It
would be good to supplement the number of free machines that we have now
with some that we charge for. Although it will be difficult to manage the 2
levels.
