				REFERENCE LIBRARIAN 

Full time Reference Librarian position available working at the general
reference desk in the public library in the Wentzville/Lake St. Louis area.
Duties include heavy public service responsibilities providing reference
services using traditional and electronic sources.  Assist in materials
selections and collection management including electronic information
delivery resources.  Participate in the development of instructional
materials and in providing library instruction in a variety of formats,
especially for electronic resources.  Working hours will include day,
evening and Saturday hours.

Must have an accredited Masters in Library Science degree, excellent
communication skills and experience working in public or customer service.
Prefer experience in microcomputers, software use, electronic information
systems and bibliographic instruction.  New graduates will be considered.
Excellent benefits and salary, starting at $29,148 for MLS; and $32,544 for
